Biography
Born in Sevilla Spain in 1970, her heritage takes her to sing and dance sevillanas
(traditional folk flamenco tunes).
As a teenager she discovers Jazz
and Brazilian music and starts singing
in local clubs. At the conservatory in
Sevilla she studied dance and ballet
as well as 2 years of law at the University.
Pursuing her artistic career she came
to Los Angeles in 1993 where she
enrolled at UCLA to study film,
she continues singing Boleros, Bossa-Nova
and Jazz. In 2002 she put together
her own band -
Viajem - with
bass player and arranger from
Brazil Antonio de Sant'anna.
With a fusion of Spanish and Brazilian
music her first cd has been released.
This new cd incorporates flamenco,
samba and romantic poetry.
